Real Crime Theatre

Was a gay rent boy wrongly hanged for murder? The extraordinary true story of Sidney Harry Fox, fraudster and gigolo, who in 1930 suffered the ultimate penalty for the mysterious death of his mother in a Margate hotel room.

Saturday 23rd April

Sculpture Exhibition 

At Gasworks, Finnish artist Laakkonen presents a durational performance where he recreates the skeleton of a giant sea cow, killed on 12 July 1742 in the Bering Sea. To guide him in this colossal task, the artist will rely solely on a written account of this creature’s bones taken from the zoological notes.

Free Dance Class

Experience ​​the cultural diversity of Peruvian Folklore, while also getting fit with this free one-hour dance class. Hosted by ArtPerUK, a community group sharing the delights of Peru.

Reach for new heights with this 1-hr private introduction to Bouldering at Vauxwall East. Located within a Grade II listed school assembly hall from the 60’s, this is rock climbing without the complicated ropes (or menacing heights).
