Metropolis Vauxhall Opens

A new multi-faceted food and entertainment space, Metropolis London is now open in Vauxhall. Championing global cuisines, the 8,000 square foot venue across two arches features a line-up of 11 street-food vendors, a standalone bar, and a live events space. With space for 350 seated throughout indoor areas and an additional 150 outdoors in the expansive garden space, the interiors draw inspiration from the bustling streets of New York with urban artwork depicting street food scenes and imagery created for Metropolis London by graffiti artists.

The Fill Supperclub at Italo Deli 

The boys from The Fill are making a triumphant return to Italo, where it all began for them! After spending five months cooking in kitchens across Central America, Dominic is back with inspiration from Guatemala and Mexico. Meanwhile, Luke has been refining his culinary skills at Peckham Bazaar. The brothers serve a summer menu perfect for those long, warm evenings, from cod cured with beetroot to smoky, fiery tacos. Garden Museum will celebrate British Flowers Week again with an exhibition of immersive floral installations created by five of the country’s top floral designers. The tour concludes conveniently at Vauxhall Station, leaving you with a deeper understanding and appreciation of this hidden corner of London.

DOMINION, curated by Connor Hirst at Newport Street Gallery

Newport Street Gallery in London presents DOMINION, an exhibition curated by Connor Hirst, showcasing works from Damien Hirst’s collection. On display until 1 September 2024, the exhibition features 80 pieces by renowned artists such as Francis Bacon, Banksy, Georg Baselitz, Rachel Howard, and Sarah Lucas. The gallery, opened by Damien Hirst in 2015, spans six exhibition spaces across five converted Victorian buildings and offers free admission. Previous notable exhibitions include Brian Clarke: A Great Light, Damien Hirst: The Currency, and Keith Cunningham: The Cloud of Witness. DOMINION is arranged in association with HENI.
