To round off Vauxhall’s first Big Tree Week, join us for a spring celebration with Vauxhall City Farm!

This May, Vauxhall is putting nature centre stage with the launch of Big Vauxhall Tree Week, a week-long programme of walks, wildlife events and community activities exploring the neighbourhood’s urban nature.

The week features a series of events designed to help residents see Vauxhall’s green spaces in a new light, from guided tree walks and wildlife spotting to creative workshops and expert discussions about the role of trees in the city.

The celebrations culminate in the Vauxhall May Fair, a weekend festival in Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens featuring plant stalls, workshops, sheep shearing, circus performers and family activities, all organised in partnership with Vauxhall City Farm.

What to Expect at the Vauxhall May Fair

The grand finale of Big Vauxhall Tree Week is a vibrant spring fair at Vauxhall City Farm and in Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens. There will be maypole dancing, plant stalls, sheep shearing, art workshops, live music, performers, face painting, family activities and lots, lots more!

Most activities will be free, but donations to Vauxhall City Farm are welcome and encouraged. Please note that there is a small fee for face-painting and you will need to buy a ticket for this at the Farm entrance.

Food and drink will be available to purchase from the Farm, or make a day of it and bring a picnic!
