We’re spoilt for choice in Vauxhall when it comes to green spaces, from the Pleasure Gardens to the Vauxhall Park. But for younger residents without a garden, there’s to get a proper look at how things grow.

But for younger residents without a garden, there’s to get a proper look at how things grow. The Young Farmers’ Saturday Club is a great opportunity to disconnect your kids from their beloved screens and help them get back in touch with nature at the Young Farmers Saturday Club.

For younger children, there’s the promise of meeting and looking after the farm animals, pond dipping for newts and even exploring the variety of creepy-crawlies that call the ecology garden home. For more creative types, there’ll be a fun arts and crafts session. There’ll be plenty of opportunities to get some fresh air and exercise, from helping out with tasks around the farm to the (admittedly more fun-sounding) butter-making session. Whether or not your little one gets to take home their churned butter seems unclear, so fingers crossed.

It takes place every Saturday for two and a half hours priced at £8.50 a session and is suitable for children aged 8 to 14.
