Oktoberfest at Vauxhall food and beer garden

Bring a taste of Bavaria to the heart of London. Expect currywurst, a live oompa band, beer steins, and lederhosen galore. Don’t let the bar team have all the fun, fancy dress is encouraged. 

 

Tuesday 4th

An eye spy walking tour, but with actual spies

When you think ‘British spies’ you may jump to cocktails, suave suits, and chase scenes in exotic locations. But the day to day reality of the British security services is equally intriguing. 

Take this walking tour to explore the world of espionage and counter-espionage, plus the political dimension in which they operate.

Thursday 13th

Ghost stories dinner show

The most haunted night of the year is fast approaching, so what better way to get into the spirit of things than with a show hosted by this year’s winner for best actor from The Dracula Society (yes, that’s a thing).

Friday 14th

Battersea Power Station opening

It’s been decades in the making, now one of our most famous neighbours is finally pulling back the curtain. To celebrate the opening of the new Battersea Power Station there are two weekends of live entertainment planned. Packed with live music, street food, and 50’s inspired cocktails galore.

Vintage clothes market

If there’s one thing we love more than a clothing bargain, it’s a clothing bargain by the kilo. Head down to the pre-loved vintage market to find your next iconic outfit from the 1950s to 2000s.

Friday 21st

Nicola Sturgeon drag

‘Biting political satire’ – The Guardian Observer 

Join Nicola Sturgeon as she travels the MULTIVERSE to find the one version of reality where Scotland is independent! Expect plenty of Tory bashing, alternate Sturgeons from across the galaxy, and worse wigs than in the last Dr Strange movie.

A festival of houseplants

A highlight of the year for any houseplant lovers. This huge market at the garden museum gives you a chance to pick up new additions for your indoor jungle. On top of the stalls, there are also talks throughout the weekend to help you keep those new

Thursday 27th

Discover the quirky side of Vauxhall

Step into an alternative Vauxhall on this walking tour of two halves. Exploring the leafy back streets, to the sky scrapers along the River Thames, covering off a host of parks, gardens, model villages and famous film sets along the way.
