For one day only, Vauxhall City Farm is heading north of the river Thames for a fantastic Family Farm Day in the heart of Covent Garden. This event has never been done before, making it a unique experience for all! Many inner-city children have never had the opportunity to visit a farm, let alone meet the animals up close and feed them. And astoundingly, neither have some adults who were born and raised in London. Everyone is welcome!

There is a new exhibition by Fred Barrington in the Bonnington Cafe this August! Fred Barrington is an opportunistic photographer, born and bred in London. He describes himself as an enthusiastic amateur who has won many awards and was honoured to be awarded Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society in 2022.

This guided walk will explore how authors of Victorian era scientific romance (the forerunner of science fiction) imagined the fantastical realms and dystopian nightmares of a steam-driven future and how modern-day steampunk authors have set about reimagining the Victorian era and its age of invention, innovation, and adventure.
