Welcome back brighter days, April showers, and a blooming Vauxhall with a range of indoor and outdoor events that’ll be sure to put a spring in your step. 

 

Saturday 1st  – Sunday 16th

Spring Festival at Battersea Power Station

Spring into lighter days with two weeks of family-friendly Easter activities, workshops, and games at Battersea Power Station. Free events include the Giant Flower Trail, face painting, an illustrated playground, and even the chance to make some furry friends at the mobile farm set up by Vauxhall City Farm! All other crafty, green-fingered, and sports activities can be booked for under £10.

Monday 3rd-Friday 14th 

Black Prince Trust Easter Holidays Programme

Keep energy levels high over the Easter holidays with a range of free sports activities for locals aged 8-17. Practise your basketball, boxing, and football skills or start from scratch! With a free lunch included, it’s a no brainer.

BASE Camp

Dream of being a professional dancer? Look no further. BASE Dance Studios are running BASE Camp, 3-day commercial dance intensives to help give those over 16 a leg up into the industry. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn from the best dancers, choreographers, and teachers of today.

Monday 3rd
The Knitting Club London

Settle into an evening of meditative making with the monthly knitting club at Italo Deli. Bring a friend and join the group of avid yarn spinners with a new or current project. Make sure to sign up to their mailing list or follow them on Instagram to keep up to date with future events.

Easterfest at Vauxhall Food and Beer Garden 

Vauxhall’s buzzing urban oasis kicks off its bank holiday celebrations with the perfect all-day party. Expect mouth-watering street food, live music, DJs, games, live sport, and plenty of booze. Tickets start at £5 for guaranteed entry and a free drink, and go up to £20 for 60 minutes of bottomless booze between 4pm-5pm. We’ll see you there.

Sunday 9th

Easter Sunday Cabaret

Get in your Sunday best for an evening of world-class cabaret. D.E.Experience returns to RVT bigger and sharper than ever, this time joined by the self-proclaimed Tart of Tartan, Mary Mac, and house music legend, Moto Blanco. Advanced tickets include entry into Monday’s star-studded night with guests Myra Dubois and Snow White Trash.

Thursday 13th
David Hoyle at RVT 

You’ll not want to miss the second show of avant-garde performance legend, David Hoyle’s Coronation Straße. An all-singing explosion of wit, energy, and wisdom, Hoyle has appeared in films and on stages across the world, as well as his own Channel 4 TV series. Prepare yourself for a night to remember.

Friday Night Stand Up Stars

Spring Plant Fair 2023

Giving the Chelsea Flower Show a run for its money, the yearly Garden Museum Spring Plant Fair gathers some of the most remarkable expert plant growers and specialist nurseries from around the country. With a programme including talks, workshops, a cookery demo and tasting, don’t miss the opportunity to give yourself the tools to grow your dream garden.

Sunday 23rd 

Parkour for Kids 

Watch your 6-9 year olds become mini ninjas as they climb, jump, and vault their way through Vauxhall. London Parkour provides youngsters with the perfect opportunity for growth, teaching them how to approach and overcome real challenges and personal fear whilst developing an appreciation for movement. Expect a morning of collaboration, new friends, and a lot of fun.
