Sunshine Singalongs & Movie Magic

OK, so April has been less than kind and we’re still picking our way around the puddles in the Pleasure Gardens – but Vauxhall’s summer season is only a month away! We made it, folks.

For those of you who know us well, these four words epitomise summer in Vauxhall:

Bearpit Karaoke. Summer Screen.

But perhaps you’re new to our patch of south London? If that’s the case, you’re in for a treat. Diaries at the ready – here’s what’s coming your way, for FREE, in Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens this summer.

Bearpit Karaoke

8 June, 20 July, 10 August, 14 September – 4-8pm

Gather your backing singers, pack a picnic and leave your inhibitions behind. Bearpit Karaoke, hosted by the legendary Joe Hatchiban, is back.

Whether you’re 8 years old or 80, a Swiftie or a Sheerio, prefer Led Zeppelin or the Lion King – everyone is welcome to step up to the mic and belt out their favourite karaoke classic to our raucous (and always supportive!) crowd.

Fuel your vocal cords with a range of different street food trucks each month, including Inamo Sukoshi, Hermanos Tacos and Bokit’la French Caribbean; drinks are provided by local favourite, Mother Kelly’s.

This is the best, most inclusive, and only free outdoor karaoke in London. Don’t miss it.

FREE but register here.

Summer Screen

Tuesdays in July – 7pm

Now in its 11th year, get set for another month-long extravaganza of outdoor cinema throughout July.

Starting on July 9th, you’ll be whisked away to the enchanting world of Disney’s Encanto, where music, magic and adventure collide in a heart-warming tale. Singing about Bruno is encouraged.

On July 16th, don your best pink outfit and totter down for a special screening of Barbie. It’s as fabulous as it’s empowering. Vauxhall, you’re Kenough.

Don’t forget your flashy thing on July 23rd, when we delve into the action-packed world of extra-terrestrial investigations with Men in Black. Will Smith is iconic in this cult 90s classic.

Finally, on July 30th, prepare to be dazzled by Baz Luhrmann’s spectacular masterpiece, Moulin Rouge. Immerse yourself in 19th Century Paris, where truth, beauty, freedom and love reign supreme.

More street food delights await at each screening, including Bokitla’s authentic French Caribbean cuisine, Hermanos Taco House’s tantalising flavours, the Duck Shed’s innovative offerings, Inamo Sukoshi’s Japanese dining experience, Lil Watan’s delectable Middle Eastern fare, and Harlem2Manila’s fusion delights.

Book your FREE tickets here.  Please note that children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
