Climbing seems to be going nuts these days. Unsurprising because it’s fun and a great workout for body and bonce.

VauxWall welcomes climbers of all abilities. An absolute beginner or a keen advanced climber – this is a great way to practice and also meet fellow climbers. There are 500 square meters of high-quality climbing surface to tackle, with over 250 routes that include gentle slabs to steep overhangs. A purpose-built climbing centre set up with the highest specification of fittings, plus a café serving teas, coffees and snacks once you’ve worked up a bit of a sweat.

There is already an incredible community base at both VauxWall sites – VauxWall East on Cabanel Place and VauxWall West on South Lambeth Road, and they are chomping at the bit to welcome back their climbing community. Don’t let the regulars put you off though, there is always plenty of room for first-timers, and it’s an easy place to make friends as well as keeping fit – the burn after a first session is real!
