The Riverside

The newly refurbished best Youngs pub this side of the river, with stunning views of the Thames. During the Cricket World Cup, one keg of Five Points is on offer on the day of each game held at The Oval - it's free until it's gone, so be quick!

Fresh, zesty and aromatic pale ale brewed with malted barley, wheat, and Amarillo and Citra hops. Perfectly well balanced, easy drinking beer.

The Eagle

Not only a late night gay pub renowned for Horse Meat Disco on Sundays, but also host to an excellent range of beers. The Eagle has a secret sun-trap beer garden that is perfect for post-cricket drinks.

Recommended beer: Ayinger Kellerbier

This nostalgic beer specialty, which can be confidently ranked among the traditional old Bavarian beers, is brewed in commemoration of the good old times and in honor of the brewery’s founder, Johann Liebhard. The special feature of the “Kellerbier” is the fine yeasty cloudiness and the pleasantly bitter taste.

Pico Bar & Grill

Lively and welcoming for a pint, and food if you fancy. A true Vauxhall classic - simply done and loved by the locals, and the Pastel de Natas available next door from sister site Madeira are also worth a try. Pastry and a beer - who says you can't?

Mother Kelly's

A place where there are beer festival vibes year-round, Mother Kelly's are a tap shop and bottle store in one and a must-visit for the Beer Fest. With 33 taps available, a phenomenal range of ales and ciders – the staff really know their stuff, and it’s a great place to discover the London craft beer scene.

Recommended Beer: Orbit Nico Koln Lager

Pale golden, Tettnang hops prominent on the aroma with grassy, herbal and spicy notes. Light on the palate, a touch of bready maltiness, with more noble hop character. Dry and easy drinking. Look for the spicy (cinnamon) and light fruity (pear) notes from the Kölsch yeast.

The Black Dog

Hidden-gem when discovering Vauxhall, already known and loved by the locals. If you're not in the know, The Black Dog is one you need to get to know. An award-winning pub on Spring Gardens, offering rotating Cask-Marque accredited real ales, world & craft lagers and a carefully selected wine list.

How do you do a Beer Festival a little differently? How about inviting some of the masters of Pan-Asian cuisine to join in the festivities, so customers can enjoy a heady mix of wild, exotic flavours, and a perfectly poured pint. Well, it is the Vauxhall Beer Fest.

Hailing from one of the most sustainable independent breweries in the country in Southwold, Suffolk, a delightful single hop beer made with Mosaic hops. Watch out for some bold flavours including peach, mango, lemon and pine.

The Rose

Excellent seasonal-led food and a backdrop of the Houses of Parliament says anything but every day, with outdoor seating and a view of the Thames that makes The Rose a popular stop. A great selection of cask ales that are perfect to try something different from during the beer festival.

A Portuguese classic had to be the choice of Casa Madeira, famed for their Portuguese hospitality. Pale lager with a dry and pleasantly bitter taste, perfectly made for the outdoor terrace here.

Vauxhall Street Food Garden

For those combining their love of ale with their love of cricket during the beer festival, a bar with a great screen for live sport and excellent beer should be top of the hit list.
Five resident food stalls and a buzzing bar with a great atmosphere are all perfectly located opposite Vauxhall station. The Vauxhall Street Food Garden is a great meeting point to get the beer festivities started.
