Summer might be signing off, but Vauxhall’s calendar is heating up.
This September, you can scrub the Thames, celebrate Terry Pratchett, swing your partner in a cowboy two-step, or tuck into pizza straight out of Puglia — all without leaving Zone 1.
From kids mucking in at the farm to adults sweating it out at WOD marathons, the month is packed with music, food, a nod to country music and plenty of community spirit.
Thames Festival & Clean Thames Challenge
Celebrate London’s mighty river all month long with art, culture, and community action. From floating installations and boat races to the hands-on Clean Thames Challenge, this is your chance to show the Thames some love. Gloves on, civic pride out — expect muddy boots, good vibes, and that “I’ve done my bit” pat on the back.

A Tribute to Terry Pratchett
Discworld fans, assemble! The Royal Vauxhall Tavern hosts an evening of sharp wit, whimsical tales, and Pratchett-inspired performances. Expect readings, costumes, and enough humour to make Death himself crack a smile.

Italo Deli Supper Club
Bonnington Square’s iconic deli turns into your dream dining room for the evening. Think seasonal Italian comfort food, flowing wine, and a warm neighbourhood buzz. Always intimate, always delicious — and always a sell-out.

Young Farmers
Kids get to roll up their sleeves and dive into farm life at Vauxhall City Farm. Over six weeks, they’ll learn about animals, plants, and the rhythms of the land — all while making memories (and maybe a little mess). Proper hands-on fun in the heart of the city.

Metropolis Country Festival
Stetsons in SW8? You bet. Metropolis Food Hall goes country with live bands, hearty eats, and a proper hoedown vibe. Expect toe-tapping tunes, southern-style hospitality, and maybe even a two-step or two.

Bearpit Karaoke
Unleash your inner rockstar, as Vauxhall’s legendary outdoor karaoke returns for the last time this summer. Take the microphone and perform your favourite tunes in front of an enthusiastic and supportive crowd, hosted by Joe Hatchiban. Mother Kelly’s serving beers and cocktails.

Sleven WODATHON
This isn’t just another workout — it’s 12 hours of sweat, strength, and community spirit. Every hour on the hour, Sleven will be running workouts to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Whether you’re lifting, lunging, or just cheering them on, it’s all for a brilliant cause.

Coming Up: Harvest Festival at the Garden Museum
Autumn’s highlight: the Garden Museum’s Harvest Festival. This year’s theme is Common Ground — exploring how food connects us to nature, culture, and each other. Expect cooking demos from London’s best (hello, E5 Bakehouse), talks, seasonal stalls, and even a live set from the London Vegetable Orchestra. Proper nourishing stuff.

Go Play on Goding Street
A car-free family day packed with play, sport, and music in the heart of Vauxhall. Try your hand at pétanque with the London Petanque Club, sharpen your tricks with SkateHub and Jump LDN, or step up for cricket tasters with the Kia Oval SCCC team. Add live sounds from the Brixton Chamber Orchestra, plus food and BBQ vibes from Jerk Friday Takeaway, and you’ve got an afternoon made for all ages.

Made in Puglia – Pizza at Market Place
A taste of southern Italy has landed in Market Place Vauxhall. Fluffy dough, fresh toppings, and that unmistakable Puglian flair — this is pizza made for Aperol-spritz afternoons. Come hungry, leave smug.
