Celebrate 50 years of Vauxhall City Farm at this year’s Spring Fair & Car Free Day

Friday 31 May | 10am–4pm | Vauxhall City Farm | Free

Vauxhall City Farm is turning 50 — and they’re throwing a proper knees-up to celebrate. On Saturday 31 May, their much-loved Spring Fair is back, packed with everything from sheep shearing and face painting to live music, herb walks and a chance to snuggle up with the Farm’s fluffiest residents in the ever-popular Cuddle Corner.

Even better? It’s also Car Free Day, meaning Tyers Street will be closed to traffic so the community can take over. There will be lots of outdoor fun and plenty of space to wander, play, and relax.

Vauxhall One is proud to support the day by bringing deck chairs for chill-out time and a PA system to keep the tunes and announcements flowing. It’s a small gesture for a local gem that has been giving back to the community for half a century.

Whether you’re a long-time Vauxhall local or a first-time visitor, the Spring Fair is your chance to celebrate everything this urban farm has grown into — from farmyard education and sustainability workshops to friendly faces, fluffy animals, and serious feel-good fun.

Entry is free, but donations to the Farm’s 50th Anniversary Appeal are welcome and will help keep this vital community space thriving.

So ditch the car, grab your mates, and head down for springtime magic in the heart of Vauxhall.

Head over to the Farm’s page and book your spot for what promises to be a fab day out!
