Big Vauxhall Tree Week

Sunday 10 to Sunday 17 May 2026

Big Vauxhall Tree Week celebrates the trees, wildlife and green spaces that shape this unique London neighbourhood.

Across the week, local organisations, artists and environmental experts come together for a programme of FREE walks, talks, creative workshops and wildlife events exploring Vauxhall’s urban nature.

The week culminates in the vibrant Vauxhall May Fair in Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, a weekend of plants, animals, performances and family-friendly activities.

Tree Walks

Step into Vauxhall’s greener side and experience nature in a whole new way.

Join a series of guided walks throughout the week, from lunchtime tree walks exploring Vauxhall’s urban forest, to a relaxed evening sketch walk that invites you to connect through creativity. There’s even a bat walk after dark, revealing the hidden wildlife of Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens.

Whether you’ve got an hour to spare or want to try something different after work, there’s a walk waiting for you.

FREE (optional £4 donation to Trees for Cities). Places are limited, so please register for a ticket.

Treehouse Workshop (age 13 to 21)

Design your dream treehouse!

Join local Artist Vicky Long and DSHA Architects for a hands-on day of sketching, model-making and prototyping. Bring your imagination – we’ll provide the materials.

Saturday 16 May, 11am to 4pm (part of the Vauxhall May Fair). Meet in the courtyard of Vauxhall City Farm, 165 Tyers St, SE11 5HS.
