Casa Madeira Vauxhall has been in the area longer than any of us care to remember, and after a short lockdown hiatus, the team are back, and so are their delicious pastel de natas.
There is a strong Portuguese community in our little neighbourhood, and Casa Madeira has long been the place to enjoy its flavour.
The sit-down café is the perfect spot for lunch with a huge selection of hot & cold sandwiches and a full breakfast menu. The next-door deli is a haven for Portuguese treats including traditional meats, cheeses and even some delicious green wines.
Casa Madeira has traditionally had plenty of tables both inside and outside for people to sit, and although they will be reducing their capacity for the foreseeable, there is still plenty of space to sit down and take advantage of the table service that they have introduced.
At a time when it’s still difficult to enjoy a European destination, Casa Madeira on a sunny Sunday afternoon is a perfect little taster of that holiday feeling.
