Quirky Brunswick House, the restaurant in a LASSCO reclaim store, had a very busy lockdown period. Quickly turning their heads from restaurant service to takeaway, head chef Jackson Boxer pulled many 18-hour shifts to ensure that their beautiful food could still be enjoyed for Vauxhallians and those who would travel to collect. A lack of sleep but a multitude of plaudits drove him and the team on, but now they are back where they wish to be, serving delicious food in surely one of London’s most charming 18th century buildings.
The setup has changed slightly in Brunswick House 2.0; they are now serving a full café & bar menu 10am-11pm, with the full food menu now serving 5-10pm, from Tuesday to Saturday.
Brunswick House has always been an essential stop on any tour of Vauxhall and post-lockdown is the absolute time to visit if you haven’t previously. Support an independent business and sip a Negroni surrounded by vintage treasure.
