Master the basics and broaden your knowledge of the beautiful world of garden design at An Introduction to Gardening History, a nine-week course that’s perfect for beginners with little to no knowledge.

Across the span of seven classes, students will get to grips with the history of garden design evolution in Britain, from medieval walled gardens and quaint 18th century town gardens, to Tudor and Elizabethan styles through to the modern gardens of the 20th century. Students will be taught by a respected collection of gardening experts and speakers, and be treated to an introduction to the Garden Museum’s impressive archives.
